Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an evidence-informed approach that views the mind as containing multiple parts — each with its own perspective, emotions, and protective roles.
Rather than fighting against anxious, critical, or avoidant patterns, IFS invites you to get to know these parts with compassion. When parts feel heard, they often soften, allowing your core Self — characterized by calm, clarity, and curiosity — to lead.
IFS can be especially helpful for trauma, inner conflict, and emotional overwhelm. In my practice at Voice Awareness, I integrate IFS alongside CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed methods based on what fits you.
